Information we process

Without an account

You may use Hear This without creating an account. App settings and progress may remain on your device. Apple processes App Store downloads, purchases, subscriptions, and related transaction information under Apple’s privacy practices.

Optional account

If you create an account, Hear This processes the information needed to provide account access and supported synchronization. This may include an account identifier, authentication information, Journey progress, practice activity, Insights records, app settings, and theme preference.

Support

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and attachments.

How we use information

• Provide optional account access.
• Synchronize supported progress and preferences.
• Present Journey progress and listening Insights.
• Respond to support, privacy, and account requests.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and comply with law.

We do not sell personal information or use Hear This data for cross-app advertising.

Service providers

Hear This uses Supabase for optional account, database, and synchronization services. Apple provides App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription management.

Retention and deletion

Optional account information and synchronized progress are retained while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. You can initiate account deletion through the app. If you need help, contact support@hearthis.studio.

Your choices

You may use Hear This without an account, decide whether to synchronize supported progress, and request deletion of your account and associated data. Removing the app may delete information stored only on your device, but it does not automatically delete an optional account.

Children

Hear This is a general-audience music-learning product and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy as Hear This evolves. The date above will be updated, and material changes will be communicated when required.
